Yes! There is no restriction to visit the Maldives or our Island. In fact, all tourists visiting the Maldives receive a visa on arrival that is valid for 30 days. In Maldives, there are no COVID restrictions at the moment.

There are 2 documents required by immigration in the Maldives.

HEALTH DECLARATION: An online form to be filled out within 48 hours prior to your arrival in the Maldives. This form could take up to 20 minutes to fill out. Please ask us to send you a link to the IMUGA health declaration form at your convenience.

CONFIRMED BOOKING: You need to have a confirmed booking at a registered tourist facility in Maldives, which Seaside Dhigurah is, of course!

HEALTH DECLARATION: This form needs to be filled out 48 hours prior to your departure from the Maldives and we are more than happy to assist you with this.

No, from March 2022 onwards, you don’t require a PCR test result to stay in Maldives or for your departure. However, if you need to do a PCR test for your airline or departure destination, we can assist you. We arrange PCR testing for $90 per person. The test is taken within 72 hours prior to your departure and you will receive the results in 24 to 48 hours.

For all direct bookings with us, we offer free cancellation up to 7 days before your arrival.

Payments will be taken 7 days prior to your arrival date and can be made via bank transfers or payment link. Contact us for further clarification on the process.

For reservations through Online Travel Agents OTA, please follow the procedures and policies of the particular site (Booking.com, Expedia, AirBnb).

Of course! You are able to split your stay however you want including on Resorts, Local islands or Liveaboards.

There are two main transfer options available from Velana International Airport (MLE) to our hotel: Domestic Flight or Speed Boat.

1 – Domestic flight: 20-minute flight from Male airport to Maamigili + 20 minute speed boat ride to Dhigurah. Seaside Dhigurah staff will pick you up at the harbor. Prices are $150 per adult per way and $70 for children under 12 years.

2 – Speed boat: Male airport to our hotel at 10:45AM and 16:00 PM. From our hotel to Male Airport at 06:30 AM and 14:00 PM. $60 per person per way for the 2-hour speed boat ride. Seaside Dhigurah staff will pick you up at the harbor.

Please let us know which option that you prefer and we will make the booking for you. You only have to pay for the transportation cost at our hotel once you arrive.

The cost of transportation will be added to your room bill, which you can settle upon checkout from our hotel.

Once you make a booking with us, we will send you transfer options to choose from. We will make the reservation for your convenience and in general, it is wise to book transfer a week in advance. However, we will try our best to accommodate last minute requests.

Please send us an email with your passport copy for us to book the flight. As the domestic flights are scheduled according to international flights, there are no specific schedules.

However, we will book a flight closely connecting to your international flight. Our airport guides will escort you to the domestic terminals. We will also arrange your transfer to our hotel upon arrival.

We will be more than willing to accommodate any of your requests. Please be aware that we will try our best to arrange affordable transfer options for you, however, transportation to other islands might be costly.

Whale sharks are seen all year around and are easily spotted when the water is calm and sunny.

Manta rays are even spotted throughout the year at our cleaning stations.

At Seaside Dhigurah, we offer a wide range of activities and excursions including but not limited to Whale Shark safari, Manta ray snorkeling, Turtle safari, Dolphin cruise, sand bank picnics, Fishing trips, cooking classes and amazing scuba diving. Whenever possible, we are willing to modify our activities to your liking.

Yes! We have a huge bikini beach on Dhigurah Island and it’s a great spot for swimming and snorkeling. The Bikini beach is just a 10 minutes’ walk from our hotel and we provide free bicycles for you to use around the island.

At the booking stage please ask for our activity guide and you can pre book excursions while you book your stay with us. Upon arrival, it is possible to book any activity with us directly as well. Your activities will be charged to your room and can be paid upon checkout from the hotel.

At Seaside Dhigurah, we accept a wide range of payment options. You can either pay by cash or card (Amex, Visa, Mastercard or union pay) You can also make a payment with a payment link.

Cash payments are only accepted in USD and MVR.

Yes, we do have a Maldivian Rufiyaa ATM at the Island. But we highly recommend to withdraw cash from ATMs at the airport (our airport guides can assist you on this).

At local shops, souvenir shops, and cafés payment is only accepted in cash. It is recommended that you carry USD or MVR to use when you shop around.

In the Maldives and on our Island, we have 2 major networks: Ooredoo and Dhiraagu. Both of these providers have 4G and 5G coverage on most of the island. Please pick up a sim card at airport based on your needs so you can enjoy internet anywhere on the Island.

Yes, but only at the bikini beach on our Island. This beach is just a few minutes’ walk from us and is quite spacious. We provide a free bicycle with your room for your convenience.

Unfortunately, at any of the local islands we cannot serve alcohol. But, we can arrange resort day trips for you where you can consume alcohol. This trip is chargeable.
